On the next day, the Spaceship Deep drove away from Silver Fortress. It left silently like a tiny boat sailing in the expanse universe. Outside the artificial atmosphere, the hyper-dimension force made a narrow passage for the Deep, watching the end of the dictator.
Unarmed spaceship is banned from installing transit driver. By normal procedures, it would take thirteen days for the Deep to pass six outposts along the way from Silver Fortress to Walter.

On the fourth day when the Deep passed by Sima（the name of a planet）, it ran up against an asteroid stream. In order to avoid it, the Deep should have intended to stop for some time. However, a four-day late of the Deep made the Walter 4th Army, who took LIN as the most dangerous man, so scared that it sent a level 1 alert for 12 times within a day to order the Deep to hurry on its journey. 

The Deep had to make a detour to the Rose Heart — the only zone unexplored in Galaxy I.
On 6th June, 270, the Deep was attacked by a group of Star Pirates hiding in the periphery of the Rose Heart. The Deep crashed and General LIN was assassinated.
It came to the Capital Star with a bang, people exploding, and the Silver 10 mutinying, occasioning collapse of the Silver Fortress. Marshal Woolf, who heard the melancholy news of LIN’s death, threw his resignation letter down to the round table of Union Parliament in a rage. When it rained it poured — the Star Pirates smelt fishy and rushed back, assaulting the civil channel of the Galaxy Ⅵ, though they had been beaten away from the Seven Official Galaxies and the Galaxy Ⅷ since 10 years ago by General LIN. The Union Military Commission was in complete chaos and incapable to react immediately, resulting in mass casualties.

This chain of incidents was defined as “Silver Disaster” in the history book.
From the Galaxy Ⅵ to the Galaxy Ⅰ, a large crowd of people marched through by Transit Station as fast as the spread of a pandemic.
Under the crazy pressure from public voice, Walter couldn’t help but turned into a differently gentle tone. The Union tried its best to settle down the Military Commission, simply forgetting its order to ask General LIN back by force — it seemed that all the Union government officials, unfortunately, caught amnesia in one time. The Union delivered a statement to mourn and praise the great General LIN, just as long and as “beautiful” as the last statement they made to insult him.

Over one night, General LIN, who had been denounced as a scheming person “with an ax to grind”, was held on a pedestal and honoured as the most valued treasure of human beings, the unprecedented incarnation of justice and glory. 
A grand funeral was held in Walter. A ceremony suit, on behalf of General LIN, though he had never put it on, was buried in the Martyrs Cemetery. Scalpers resold tickets to the funeral with such an incredibly high price that this event was collected in Guinness World Records, gaining a new fame for General LIN.

At the funeral, his twin sister LIN Jingshu, a beautiful celebrity in Walter, wore black gauzy veil and greeted every high-leveled official with courtesy. She maintained her elegant and polite manners without any imperfections even though she was facing her twin brother’s death.
She was so beautiful -- anyone who saw her would marvel at her good looking -- and was so indifferent.

Her husband, Secretary General Gordon, walked down to her. Her arm winded his the way dodder flowers winded around their stem. He put a black veiled hat on her. She accepted his whole-heartedly care and adjusted then a bit her position quietly, eyeing him with an expression of admiration and dependence. Gordon was performing his sorrowful show on the stage, whilst she was playing her part under the stage -- she sometimes picked up her silk handkerchief, lightly sweeping it at the corner of her eyes.

The journalists surrounded her, taking some pictures, but left in a few minutes -- Ms. Gordon looked just the same as last time when she attended the charity sale in the name of “Against Throwing Pets into the Space”. Always elegant, and dull. They could use last time’s pictures, and they were sure that nobody would find any differences.
LIN Jingshu stilled, ignoring the journalists who just came and went.

She was like a narcissus flower, who only cared nothing but her own reflection.
At this very moment, the “flower” shed her tears and smiled, with her charismatic face reflecting the light of human civilization. She stared at Gordon, who was acting choking with sobs, and thought,
You’re gonna pay this price with your life.
Human beings had enjoyed an over-200-year peaceful time since they entered the Celestial epoch, but the mirage of peace was fading away.
